OUR SERVICES

The Poop Deck

The Poop Deck is the area on a ships' deck reserved exclusively for Officers use. Whilst our cottage is not a ship, it is believed to be constructed using beams from various vessels who plied their trade up and down the Severn during the17 & 18c - hence,

The Poop Deck!

Upton upon Severn

Upton upon Severn is a charming town on the banks of the river Severn, whose origins date back to the Domesday Book. A long standing trading post, its location between the Cotswold and the Malverns provides countless opportunites for walking, fishing, exploring - or just watching the river drift by..

We provide a well stocked larder of salt/pepper, oils and vinegars, tea and coffee etc, so you won't have to bring the kitchen sink! We use eco friendly products, and there is a BBQ for outdoor cooking - weather permitting!

Children and Animals

We adore children and animals, and they will be most welcome at The Poop Deck. We can provide stair gates and cots for younger children, and there are wonderful doggie walks along the Severn Way, a mere few steps from the cottage.

The courtyard garden is charming, and a real suntrap! There are 2 sets of tables and chairs, and relaxing benches in a tucked away leafy corner just right for a night cap. The carport is for a  compact car only, although there is a further parking space less than a minutes walk away.
